About the Center

The Johns Hopkins Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care was created in 2002 to facilitate patient-centered revamping of healthcare delivery systems at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Supporting a grass roots model of improvement, the Center helps coordinate the efforts of interdisciplinary teams of physicians, nurses and managers throughout the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions to gather data, evaluate changes, and recommend and implement best practices.

Mission and Vision
The mission of the Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care is to advance innovation for ideal patient care for Hopkins – and beyond. Our vision is a patient-centered culture with multi-disciplinary teams empowered to identify, create and evaluate healthcare system solutions.
